We have an intense dislike for hidden charges and for charges for modifications that can take 30 seconds, yes there are varying prices throughout domain space and it pays to look closely at the small print. Country-code Top-Level Domains (ccTLDs) are priced at a flat-rate basis and are not part of the OpenSRS 'cost-plus" pricing model. This is due to the fact that ccTLDs are not subject to ICANN fees and because of the fluctuating cost of domains due to currency conversions. 

The OpenSRS fee includes Managed DNS and Contact Privacy for every domain name you register. !!
